I was like a kid today when I found out I didn't have school, Not that I didn't want to see the Prairie Moon kids but I didn't want to have to trek out into the cold. Enough said, I have been keeping myself busy even with the inclement weather finishing and starting Christmas gifts. I know Christmas is over!, the gifts I didn't get finished are for those loved ones that live far away and in which I didn't get to see during the holiday break. Plus my sister was pregnant and had her first baby was born on Monday the 2nd of January! I just missed him if I would have stayed in Dodge a week longer...but anyhow that gave me time to knit some warm baby socks for him, yes they are a little big for a new born but babies grow so fast.
Made from cotton these little socks will wash and wear well. The pattern by the way I found on a site called knittinghelp.com there is also a video which helped me along. I usually have trouble reading patterns at some point, you know how it is either you don't know enough or you know to much!
